I cannot think of anything more terrible than writing a paragraph of text about myself, so here's a list of fun facts instead.

  • I'm male.
  • I'm 33.
  • I live in the United States.
  • I'm a voice engineer.
  • I live with two cats.
  • I prefer mild or warm weather to hot or cold.
  • I live in the state of New Jersey, near Philadelphia, PA and no, I don't have that accent that people attempt to imitate whenever I tell them where I live. The people with that accent live in northern Jersey, near New York.
  • I once attended school at the Art Institute of Philadelphia.
  • I own an iPhone in addition to many other Apple products, and my primary computer is a Mac. (I really hope they don't discontinue the Mac Pro line.)
  • My favorite color is green.
  • Socially and politically, I consider myself to be a liberal.
  • I'm not married.
  • I think most reality television isn't fit for human consumption, but I love Big Brother.
  • I don't have any children.
  • I love science and technology.
  • My favorite television show was The West Wing, but I also loved Lost.
  • Listing a favorite movie is difficult. How about a few favorite directors instead? Scorsese, Spielberg, Tarantino.
  • I love zombie and vampire movies, fiction, and television.
  • I used to run mymacblog.com, a personal, Mac-related blog, where I would post daily news and tips, but other interests took me away from it and I eventually let the domain go (ok, I missed the renewal email notice and someone in China owned it the last time I checked).
  • I love politics. I consume more political news than any other news content.
  • I own a Kindle.
  • I prefer to live on any floor but the first floor (see zombies above).
  • I like MMORPGs.
  • I'm half Italian and the rest is mostly German, from what I've been told.
  • I only speak English and I'm a bit ashamed that I haven't yet learned another language.
  • I was raised by a single mother with the help of my grandmother.
  • I love animals. As a child, I kept many pets, including cats, hamsters, rabbits, gerbils, snakes, lizards, rats, mice, an alligator, a caiman, fresh and saltwater fish, turtles, frogs, and newts. I was never allowed to own a dog. My mother probably regretted that decision, because I brought everything else home instead.
  • My original intention was to become a zoologist. I quickly found that I spent more time in the computer lab than I did studying biology.
  • I an a resident of Second Life where I run a store for fun.
  • I'm a recovering World of Warcraft addict and used to run a guild with a few of my friends.
  • I consider myself a pragmatist, but that doesn't mean I've lost the idealism of my youth.
  • I attended Catholic school from kindergarten through the 12th grade.
  • Sometimes I talk a lot (ok, often).
